I graduated from Montana State University in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Business – Marketing. I’ve enjoyed my time at MSU immensely and look forward to the future that the University and College of Business have provided me. I focused my time at school on my studies and working as the Director of Marketing for The Exponent, our student newspaper. My education is comprised of many important subjects, but my most relevant coursework is Integrated Marketing Communications, Online Marketing Communications, and Sales and Sales Management. All of these classes have shaped me into a savvy digital marketer with a focus on search engine optimization, influencer marketing, social media, developing inbound marketing strategies, and communication skills. I am happy to leave MSU with substantial experience and a thirst for knowledge. The most critical thing MSU taught me was how to learn more.
High School Education
I went to Homestead High School outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My experience was very typical of most American High School Students. However, I had the opportunity to participate in a unique program only offered at Homestead. The Product Development Project (PDP) connects students with a real business to develop go-to-market strategies and launch a product. I had the pleasure of working with Sargento Cheese, producing a new snack-based cheese. From this exposure to business practices, I gained experience in online marketing, product placement, and market research. Most of all, I grew a passion for digital marketing and the creative solutions marketers can provide.
